relief from fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia question?
We believe my wife has fibromyalgia. The doctor believes that, but he is doing some other tests to rule other stuff out, but based on everything else with her thats what it seems like. She is taking she is taking cataflam and glucosamine, and they really seem to be helping her some. I was wondering from anybody else that has this, is there anything i can do or we can do to help her get some relief. She hurts all over, but the majority of the pain is in her legs and lower back. Any advice on this would be appreciated.
My mom has that and I began exhibiting symptoms of it as well about 3 years ago. I had a lot of issues with my legs feeling itchy without any rash or visible signs, my feet swelling and turning colors without any reason, and my legs feeling like I ran 20 miles without having really walked around for the day. I finally found a free way to help myself. I began to elevate my legs for 45 minutes each night. I would elevate as I watched tv and not just like 1 or two pillows worth of height, like 4 or 5 pillows worth. I would put the pillows under my feet or shins and watch tv. The itching and swelling went away as well as the pain that doctors told me they couldn’t explain and I knew I wasn’t just crazy. I hope this helps. Try it every night for a couple of weeks to see if this works.
I know you have probably heard that it is good to continue exersizing and to eat a healthy diet. Those help but not as much as elevating did. Good luck!
